Everything comes back to life at the end of winter, which means we get a whole new bundle of fruits, veggies, and herbs to enjoy. Tomatoes start having more flavor, berries start getting sweeter, and new colors and tastes get added to our meals. If you’re ready to take advantage of all that the spring harvest has to offer, you’ve come to the right place!
At its core, seasonal eating means eating fruits and veggies at a time of year when it’s naturally ready for harvest, and therefore at its peak.
During this focus group, I’ll be leading discussions about why sticking to seasonal produce can result in more nutrients, more flavor, and less strain on your wallet! Additionally, I’ll be offering lots of tips as well as my personal expertise in the realm of food and nutrition.

Seasonal eating is hardly a trend, it’s a way of life that all of the humankind adhered to up until the recent past.
For example, just 50 years ago, finding a mango in a grocery store in Wisconsin would have been unheard of. Today, if mangos weren’t available, folks would be up in arms! We’ve grown accustomed to having all produce at our fingertips, year-round, regardless of whether it’s in season or not.
My goal for this experience is to help you understand the many benefits that come with choosing fruits and veggies that are in season. Once you make the switch, your palate, wallet, and body will be impressed!
